Ahhh, to be at rest... what a perfect bliss!

There is a lot to say about Christmas day. Outside of the family meal and the children's joy as they wake up, and the impromptu gathering with friends that evening, my favorite time this Christmas was going to church.
We attended the Episcopal church. The prayers were beautiful, the readings were inspirational, and communion was transforming. Drinking from a common cup is a symbol impossible to explain.
I know Christmas day is over, but cannot wait for next year!
